Size: Circumference = 28 ft., Radius = 4.5ft. Media: Mixed Media This piece initially started as a large-scale doodle on large drawing paper. The "doodle" was trying to encompass the same energy that is found in my small-scale sketches. My friend and artist colleague, Angela Arrocha, and I started this "doodle." Arrocha left after her brief and inspirational visit (we oftentimes collaborate together whenever we can). I started to add color and a domestic space to it. It grew in size.

Size: About 16" x 16" x 10" Media: Mixed Media The mother in this image is giving birth while standing, she is posed awkwardly; her gremlin-like features and ugly-doll qualities do not phase her as she gives birth to a full-grown man, caked with the debris of the street she lives on.

Size: About 20'x6'x4' Media: Exterior: Cinder blocks, fabric, lace, glue, paint, ribbon, thread, pillow stuffing, blankets. Interior: Mixed Media "Lurk, In-between, Retreat" is an installation I created for the specific function of viewing the video piece "Decaying With the Weight of Feeling Selfish for Wanting You Alive." The purpose of creating a space for the viewer to have to crawl into was to encompass the feelings of uncertainty and discomfort from crawling into the unknown.
